our story
Garratt and Kathryn's love story began in 2020 while working at Louisburg College. The couple first noticed each other during a lake day with some friends in September of that year. They began talking on Kathryn's 23rd birthday and officially started dating on November 8th, 2020, following a brunch date at First Watch. After some time, Garratt proposed to Kathryn, on March 29th on the beach in Wilmington, NC.

what to wear

suggested color palette
Stumped on what to wear to our wedding? Here's a tip: Think of a joyful Christmas tea party hosted by Martha May Whovier! Our formal event calls for a color palette that's equal parts festive and classy.
gifts
While your presence is a treasured gift, if you would like to offer something more, we request that you bring a new, unwrapped toy. For several years, our favorite tradition has been to shop for Angel Trees or Toys for Tots during the holiday season, and we would be delighted if you joined us. In the spirit of Christmas, we aim to donate all the gifts we receive to children in need during this holiday season!
Rsvp
We kindly request that you RSVP to ensure we can plan accordingly. Please submit your RSVP no later than October 15th.
FAQs
Can we bring our kids?
We simply adore your darling kiddos, but this wedding shindig is strictly for the grown-ups.
Will there be a bridal party?
Rather than the usual bridal party, we have opted to have a select group of individuals – our "I do" crew – join us as we prepare for our big day.
Why breakfast for dinner?
Before we started dating, we celebrated Kathryn’s birthday at a friend's house, where we enjoyed breakfast for dinner together. This has always been a favorite meal of ours, and who can resist a fluffy waffle?
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Absolutely! Feel free to capture the moments and share them with us! Guests are encouraged to take plenty of photos and videos during our event. Just a friendly request to avoid obstructing the view of others or our official photographers.
